Dr. Castaneda has done a phenomenal job with the reconstruction in my foot and ankle to correct a flat foot and shifting of my foot away from my body...all from a failed tendon. I had significant fears going into this process. Dr. Castaneda is not one of those surgery first surgeons. We tried several other options before having to choose surgery. She was professional, helpful, and considerate. I recommend her.
Call it luck or divine provenance, but finding her to repair my Achilles tendon has been a Godsend. She is a master at her craft and has been nothing short of excellent throughout the process - and this includes her staff and support system.

I broke my ankle in 3 places over Labor Day weekend and knew surgery was likely necessary. I was referred to Dr Castaneda and was able to get an appointment the Tuesday after the holiday weekend. She confirmed that I needed surgery and scheduled it for that Friday. She was open, kind, professional, and informative about what my injury, my surgery, and my recovery. The staff in all the facilities I visited were also amazing. I am extremely happy with my care.
