What you need to know is that she is a real number one doctor. Answers all your questions and you do not leave her office without knowing what is going to happen to you after your surgury. I felt from the first appointment, 'This is the doctor I want to do my surgery.'
Dr. Castaneda did an excellent job with my left foot surgery last August and now recovering from the right foot surgery. I appreciate her positive and confident personality. I received excellent care at SCOI office and operating center.
Dr. Castaneda has performed two surgeries on my very arthritic foot. Both surgeries have turned out excellent and relieved me of the constant pain I was experiencing prior to each surgery. She explains the procedures well, listens to concerns and patiently answers questions. She also doesn’t rush to use surgery as the only option. She has kept a big toe joint pain free with just cortisone shots. I would highly recommend this doctor.

Best surgical doctor that operated on my foot. Scheduling the appointment was fast & easy. Pre-op appointment answered all my questions and made me feel prepared for my surgery. Day of my surgery was great. The facility members (Doctors & nurses) were very friendly & knowledgeable. Post-op appointment was great. I'm healing well all thanks to Dr.Castaneda. She is very friendly, knowledgeable, prepared and professional. I would recommend her to everyone.

So pleased with my experience with Dr. Castaneda! My surgery went really well and so happy with the results so far. My bunion was severe and it required a lot of reconstructive work. I was concerned about having intense post op pain and to my surprise it was not bad at all. Uncomfortable at times but nothing like what I had anticipated. It’s a long healing process but Dr. C is providing all the support and encouragement to get me through to the end. So glad I chose Her to do my surgery!!
