From my initial call, ***************************** was headed our way within the hour to start the initial workup on the amount of water damage, and then a couple of hours later ****** and Rue. They went right to work pulling up flooring and baseboards and getting the large dehumidifiers running.

Had an issue with the A/C install that caused a major leak in the attic that ruined portions of the ceiling. Put in an online request and the guys were out the very next morning to start to clean up. Everything was explained in detail and these guys work quickly and professionally.

Had a great experience from beginning to end. DEC handled every part of my insurance claim. Michael H****** assisted with the filing of the claim and perfectly laid out the entire process. Our project manager, Dylan, did exactly what he promised. My home was well taken care of. I felt confident through the whole process that DEC would finish the job correctly and on time.

I am so disappointed in this company. The Hispanic company that D.E.C. hired for the labor/work was below satisfactory. In this case, you get what you pay for. Cheaper labor resulted in cheap looking ********** attempts on reaching out to D.E.C. to have the issues resolved have been ignored. ***** from *** just called me, and I was honestly shocked by how rude and unprofessional he was. All I did was send a simple text expressing concern about the lack of communication and asking for an update because no one had been keeping us informed. Instead of addressing those concerns, he became argumentative and disrespectful.He told me that they had plenty of other work to do, that they were no longer going to do this job, and that they would just bill the insurance company for the work they had already completed. I have had a terrible experience with DEC fire and Water Restoration. They came in my home and destroyed my kitchen and left me without a kitchen for about 5 months. They busted my pipes in the kitchen and stole the pipes and left me with the bill and they broke my glass stove while taking my cabinets apart. No one told them to demolish all my cabinets just to get to a small rusted pipe behind the wall for the plumber to fix. NY roof is leaking after 2 yrs.no decking or tar paper. Still broken boards and rafters.cost was $***** dollars. Also rebuilt Somerton that are now rotten. They are con artists.i reported this and have heard nothing. I signed a paper saying I would stay off the internet so they.would give us back the money for repairs on the rest of the house in2020. We got the wrong shingles and this 10 yr roof is leaking
