Derek started communicating more the last 2 months of our homebuying process. So I'd say the last 2 months was a pleasant experience. We were, however, in the homebuying process for a total of 10 months which means that the first 8 months were not smooth. I felt initially there was a lack of communication unless there were documents that were needed from my husband and I. When something was needed we'd be asked for it but that was it. We were harassed the last two days prior to closing with requests for documents needed for mortgage approval. This was very inconvenient and made us very nervous. We were asked questions about things in our credit report the day before closing. These items were available to you months prior to closing. Also, you said you did not give us comparative rates between VA loan and conventional. The VA rate we were given was not lower than conventional rates.

Found an alternate solution for closing from what jet loans screwed up at the last minute and left me in a terrible spot.
