About this business
Diamond Knot’s original brewery and alehouse is in a building that has housed a pub for over 20 years. Before the building became a pub, it was a bus garage used by the local transit company and the main roll-up door can still be seen just inside our front door. The original thick, sturdy wooden beams and open plank ceiling, give the building a wharf-like atmosphere that fits perfectly with our nautical feel and the waterfront on which we are located.

I have been here a couple of times and it's always been good to great. The fish and chips were worth the try. The fish was done but not dry. The taste was good with the breading. Fries were good. The service was a bit slower than you hope but it's due to the lack of staff due to the times. The server was still nice though she was very busy. Dodge was our server and was a hoot! like an owl - but better cause he's a person and had good recommendations on food and beers
Came here to visit the lighthouse but so glad we stopped by. They have a sit down part of the restaurant but also a side window to order from. They have ice cream that is super good and creamy. We got "snack food" because we were going to dinner later on in the night and we were mistaken in the portion size. It kept us full for over four hours. Overall all the food was amazing but my fav was the tater tots. Those a must try!
Best breakfast ever. Quick, friendly and spunky wait staff. Cooks that communicate and allow flexible menu use occasionally. Great pizza, good beer selections, and a fun atmosphere. Even on a busy night, or crowded special event, staff are always looking for ways to chit chat and make sure everything was right. Great date night place for married couples too.
We stopped this restaurant on our vacation in Washing. We tried Ribeye steaks on stones and fish & chips. They all tasted great. Home made beers are excellent. The service was good from beginning to the end. We will come again when we have a chance.
Good brew pub and food. 3/5 Fish n Chips, excellent quality fish, very fresh. Light panko breading but it was not very crisp like I desire in them. Fries were a decent cut, seasoning and texture but also not really crispy. Good overall selection of food and drinks though. Good service!
Amazing customer service. Ending up having to wait for the ferry, fine, no big deal, took the kids for ice cream and waited in the line outside. When we got to the window I asked how long the wait was for a side of fries too, at first they said an hour and 20 minutes so we said okay, we'll just get ice cream. My husband asked if business had been better with the one ferry running instead of two and she said it's beach visitors that actually bring more business. Delicious breakfast bites! Their breakfast gravy has great flavor. My root beer complimented breakfast so well. Staff is super nice too!
It's a bit loud for my taste but the food is good and the staff are friendly, if a little slow. I've tucked in there more than once after a chilly walk on the adjacent beach.
