About this business
Diamond Knot’s original brewery and alehouse is in a building that has housed a pub for over 20 years. Before the building became a pub, it was a bus garage used by the local transit company and the main roll-up door can still be seen just inside our front door. The original thick, sturdy wooden beams and open plank ceiling, give the building a wharf-like atmosphere that fits perfectly with our nautical feel and the waterfront on which we are located.

Food was ok, was hoping for a bit of a view on the water. Mostly ...didn't like all the flies hovering around that we had to constantly shoo away while eating. Probably won't be back
Came in to drink and order a to go pizza after a while. Service was a little slow. Bartenders would leave behind the bar and tickets would stack. I didn't understand it.. but I ordered my pizza and left. The pizza blows all that BS away. I got cauliflower crust as a recommendation from the bartender. Glad I did, great crush, almost the exact way I would make pizza! Go back is a yes!
Service is so slow here I often almost walk out right before the server comes scurrying around the corner with food. It is like this every time we come. I hate the floors and wish that at the least they were a cool epoxy floor. I understand that staffing can be problematic right now and also I haven't seen the size of the kitchen they are working with but please don't make me HANGRY! Food is satisfying.
We love this place, wings, pizza, burgers, chili...all are great. One thing I do NOT the commend is the blackened halibut tacos. The tacos area stuffed full of coleslaw (dry) with about 4 or 5 tiny slivers of halibut and about half a dozen pieces of watermelon. These were disappointing.
Came up for a business trip 2 weeks and the oven that warmed the stones was down. This time it was working so I had to try it was delicious strongly recommend
Local joint. No frills. No bull. Just really good pub food. Menu has some seasonal dishes that change including beers. Love the bowls of peanuts, that YES, you throw the shells on the ground. Please don't come here if you don't like a good ole' local pub with good food.
We love the Diamond knot! Peanut Butter Bacon Burger and the hot stone Reuben Sandwich are my go to's
Always great coming here! The atmosphere is hard to beat. Great music playing, peanuts on the floor. Had the Blackberry cider and my boyfriend had the Industrial IPA. We had a serving of the knot tots as an appetizer and they do NOT disappoint. My boyfriend had the peanut butter bacon burger. I am having the jalapeño popper burger! This meal was unbelievable. The fries were perfectly crunchy and had a great flavor. The garlic onion burger had garlic aioli with the perfect punchy garlic flavor it would have been nice with a lifting citrus note, but was also perfect as is. The crispy onions were very flavorful and delightful. The burger patty itself was juicy and thick. I added tomato which gave if a nice brightness.
