Will continue to update but so far: 2/21/19: Went in for a ear crop consult. The lady at reception did not acknowledge me walking in what so ever. She went on to talk to a client who was here first, I get that. However after she finished, she continued to ignore me until I guess she realized I needed something. Unfortunately my pup ended up having an accident inside (I'm still working on potty training) and she gave me attitude for that too. Like ma'am if you're going to be so rude, find another job. It's always difficult to find a good vet when you move to a new place and I've found one! Dr. Amy and vet tech Jen were very patient with me and my cat. He was feral so isn't the easiest for strangers to deal with but they were careful and patient. He just needed an update on his vaccines and they didn't pressure me that I needed to buy anything more than what I needed. Thank you Dogwood Animal Hospital for a great experience!

My family recently moved to the area and we've been searching for a trustworthy vet that would take great care of our beagle. We had our first visit today with Dr. Amy and I was extremely impressed with the entire practice! From the moment we walked into the door, to our consultation with Jen, I immediately knew that our sweet baby was in good hands. I took my pitbull, Polo, to Dogwood for his initial exam, shots, and ear cropping. Although, I had to drive 4 hours round trip each visit, I wanted to ensure I chose the right Dr to perform his ear surgery. Everyone at Dogwood is a pleasure to deal with. Their genuine passion for animals is obvious. The price for the surgery was on the higher end of the average, based on research I performed ahead of time, but it was well worth it. I have always had good experiences at Dogwood. We have been a "patient" of Dr. Caughman for over 15 years. The doctors and staff have all been kind and intelligent. They truly cared about both our dogs' health and wellness. They were there for us at the beginning and the end. We are grateful for their warmth and best practices. Neither of our dogs were ever anxious about going to this office.

I took my hound mix to this vet for a second opinion on an issue she was having. I saw Dr. Amy Young and she was fantastic. She's smart and was really helpful in explaining what was going on with my dog and all of the treatment options. Everyone at the vet was wonderful and sweet with my nervous girl.

I had a very good experience at Dogwood. Brandee is sweet, friendly and she took time to call me and explain the surgery and what was included in the price. Dr.Caughman is very knowledgeable and caring. He was patient/understanding about all of my questions and worries. I know the staff took good care of my furbaby before, during and after her surgery. They also made arrangements for me to board her a day before her surgery because I could not drop her off that day. So thankful for Dogwood!

What a stellar vet's office! I came in with a mini emergency with my Jack Russell & they not only worked him in for an appointment but did it with a smile. The entire staff is very friendly & they patched my lil buddy up perfectly! Brandee even played with my daughter when she started to get a little antsy. Thanks to the entire crew over at Dogwood!
