What a stellar vet's office! I came in with a mini emergency with my Jack Russell & they not only worked him in for an appointment but did it with a smile. The entire staff is very friendly & they patched my lil buddy up perfectly! Brandee even played with my daughter when she started to get a little antsy. Thanks to the entire crew over at Dogwood!

Dr. Caughman, Mel, Karen, Aaron, Brandee, and Elaine are positively the most wonderful veterinary staff in Georgia! Dr. Caughman is so smart, and he can even relay less than positive news in a caring and loving way. Our mostly black lab is 11 years old. She was recently diagnosed with diabetes. It has altered her life and our lives hugely, but with the help of this outstanding staff, it appears that our precious dog is getting a new lease on her "senior dog" life! We absolutely love Dogwood. The employees are so incredibly kind, patient and loving. They take the best care of their clients (new and long-term). Every time I call, they are courteous and informative. We do not worry about our dog when she is there and that is priceless!
Love, love, love the staff at Dogwood Animal Hospital! They are gentle with my dogs and cats and Dr Caughman is a smart and understanding veterinarian. I feel that my fur babies receive top notch compassionate care!
My family has been raising Pekingnese for years. We love and cherish these amazing animals and I can't imagine letting anyone other than Dr. Caughman take care of them. He and his staff are always caring and concerned in my opinion. They really take the time to explain what exactly is going on, what the best course of treatment should be, and all of this is done in a loving manner. Dr. Caughman is indeed our "Family's Other Doctor"!!!!

I went to Dogwood Animal Hospital with my new 9 week old Doberman baby boy to have the consultation in preparation for his ear cropping. As most new puppy owners I had prepared a budget. That said, when I called to make the initial appointment I specifically asked for the cost of the procedure which they stated was $900. I asked how much of that $900 needed to be paid at the consultation visit and was told approximately $300 - $400 depending on if he needed another dewormer shot. When we call and go over ear crop information, we are very upfront about the pricing and what is and is not covered. The vaccines, deworming and intestinal parasite screening are not included in the price due to clients having their own R D.V.M.
