A major pro of this practice is how they handle end of life for a pet. I brought my dog in to be put down and they all displayed so much compassion. I felt incredibly valued during that experience. Then it all went downhill. The woman who answers the phone seems to hate her job and everyone she encounters. Why she's client-facing is beyond me. BEWARE,,,,, of rabies vaccination they give out at any animal hospital make sure they are thimerosal free. thimerosal is another name for mercury yes, they put heavy metals such as aluminum and mercury in ALL vaccinations along with ground up monkey brains and aborted babies. Make sure it says TF on the vial or insert. If I could give zero I would! I took my dog in for a problem with itching they charged me a bunch of money and sent me on my way. Two days later and no resolve to the itching I investigate my dogs fur to find fleas!!!! I call the DOGWOOD and they say oh yeah she probably has fleas? I ask well you did a test for flea and charged me for it, no apologies I was told I would need to get a flea prevention (I'm am not from the south and I know nothing about fleas) so I go back and spend another large sum of money. Stay away from this place. They lost my dog's xray, and greatly overcharged me for a bottle of Cosequin pills.

TERRIBLE. Do not take your animals to this vet. Overpriced and a total rip-off. WAY over charged me for flea meds and then would not let me return them, even though the boxes were unopened. They also removed my dog from the room for blood work, shots and fecal tests which I had never seen a vet do before. Red Flag for me. Google this vet and see for yourself...many, many horrific reviews.
