The KBHS team may the experience easier to navigate. There were a few issues, but they were solved quickly and with grace. I can say my overall experience in purchasing a new home from KB Homes was enjoyable one and I would recommend that others who are seeking to purchase home to check out KB Homes for that big purchase.
We only had one small mishap happen but it was a costly one. We were supposed to receive a lock in quote but never received the actual email to respond with a written response to lock it in after I verbally said on the phone no matter what it would be we would lock in. Months later the rates skyrocketed up, we were not locked in because we never had the email, and are now stuck with a 2-3 percent higher rate than what it would have been. This has really effected our buying experience.
Doug stayed in touch with me and my family through the entire process. He gave us outstanding advice about locking our interest rate in when it was low. We are grateful because that paid off in a major way. I love Doug's professionalism and consistent check-ins to see if we had any questions or had any needs.
Doug has been awesome throughout our (Monica and I) home buying experience. His delivery of service was genuine and consistent for the last 18 months. We received a phone call or other type of communication from him at least once a week, whether it was a major movement item or just to check in. We felt like we were taken care of professionally and actually feel like we have a new family member in Doug! Thanks Brother!
