I visited with Dr. Shubin Stein from out-of-state regarding knee pain that has persisted for over a year. I was anxious to meet with her because of HSS' reputation, and because she started the patellofemoral center at HSS in order to better research knee pain. Our daughter needed reconstructive ACL surgery and we found Dr. Shubin Stein. The experience was excellent! She and her team spent time with us, answering our questions, and explaining what they were going to do and why ... very comforting. We also appreciated that she focused on all aspects of recovery for my daughter, providing info. on the physical and emotional support that we can access to get thru the recovery process. She and her staff are the best. I am not sure how I can add to that. Dr. Beth is world class skilled and genuinely cares. Her staff gets to know you personally and is attentive to detail. It matters. They really do care about their patients and getting the best outcome possible.
