Real easy to use, just scan, plug it in via supplied usb cord and download (didn't have to use software CD). Save it in PDF file (documents) or JPEG file (photos) and scan in color or black & white. Don't know the full capabilities of this scanner but it does what I need it to do. Got it on sale too ! ! ! ! !
We didn't need a big scanner, but something that was portable, allow us to scan not only documents, but pictures and such and this really fits the bill. Small, lightway, easy to use and a power house!

I purchased this scanner primarily to scan receipts for business expenses while on the road, as well as other occasional documents. I had used a Neat portable scanner in the past and this functions similarly with some notable improvements. Epson also has their own software similar to Neat to use the OCR capabilities and enter them into a spreadsheet. It also has a clear sleeve for scanning wrinkled receipts. Scan anywhere and don'the tie up the computer. Much easier to use then a full size scanner for receipts and business cards.

I spent some time serching for a portable scanner for my traveling business. This was the best product I was able to find that I did not have to connect to an oulet, small and amazing! It gives you the option to scan in color/black&white, PDF or Picture, and it even scans 1 or 2 sided without having to resubmit the sheet. It can also connect to your cell phone through wifi and all Documents and Pictures save to an SD. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!
I use this scanner for scanning receipts while on business trips. The scanner is amazing for this task and the software that comes with it makes great expense reports.
