Solar System Working with Ecomark was great. The process was quick, easy for us, and the value was good.
Smooth process The process of having my solar panels done went very quickly and smoothly. The customer service was great and they answered all my questions with no hesitation. They made everything nice and easy.
Inverter less than year old but keep shutting off Do not use this company. I spent 40,000 on my system only to be told they have changed their marketing strategy only to sales. I was told to do a google search for solar edge help. They are just in the business for the sale and you will be left high and dry. Oh and solar edge does not accept phone calls for troubleshooting problems. You have to use a website and chat...if they are their. Very unhappy
This company will leave you high and dry. According to EcoMark, they fired/laid off the team that performs service calls on the system they install. Our system has had 50% of the panels replaced due to failure in less than 5 years, and it's only half way paid off. Now they are refusing to service the system even though we are continuing to have panel failure that is no fault of our own. Don't Expect Accountability Ecomark never told me about how the install was going to be performed. Not a suprise because I would have refused. They used mounting system that has exposed side clamps that stick out past the panels which looks really shabby and unfinished. Second, they removed the concrete tiles on my roof and replaced them with aluminum 'tile-replacers' to mount the brackets to. Don't count on EcoMark's "warranty" EcoMark installed a solar system on my home in early 2020. At that point, I would probably have given them at least a 4 rating, with just a few delays and communication issues where one hand didn't seem to know what the other was doing. However, after a year of operation, it quit altogether. When I called, an EcoMark representive determined that a technician would need to come out and that it had been taking 4-6 weeks. A second rep then told me 5-7 weeks, but a tech did come out 3.5 weeks ... read more
If you finance they put a lien on your house I just got my solar turned on this week. Installation went well and communication seemed clear except the fact that there was absolutely no mention of a lien being put on my home. When I called about a refinance the loan officer says he sees this all the time. Kind of shady not to be upfront about a lien on your home. I am sure it is in the 50 pages of paperwork somewhere but it should have been the first thing out of the salesman's mouth. This isn't unique to this company though ... read more
Ruined my roof during installation I wish I could leave less then 1 star. There installation on roof ruined roof and caused interior damage to house with water. They said I was six months out of warranty even though two roofing companies and my insurance company said it was from installation and not something recent. They do a sloppy job and also didn’t leave box attached to house were was instructed. Good contractors - Salesperson not so much You get what you pay for. The original salesperson did an OK job setting up the service and the offer. But when our PV system was changed after we agreed on a certain size and signed the contract, EcoMark reduced my array by one panel and never mentioned it to me. If I hadn't read through the "new" proposed PV array, I would have signed off on a smaller system.
