Nice but.... EcoMark is not straight forward in their sales tactics on any level. As everyone says - their people are nice. Their niceness is what made us feel safe and that they were being upfront and completely honest with us. We did not do our due diligence because we trusted what they said. No. Over a year ago we got solar panels through EcoMark. The process was pretty frustrating and in the end, it turns out they didn't even correctly calculate how much electricity we would need to produce. Now, a year later, we have paid for electricity 9 of the last 12 months directly from our utility company. So we have been paying the loan for solar panels, plus an access fee to produce our own power. But, we have not been making enough power and are ALSO paying for electricity. Worst experience of my life This company, while their sales and installation persons are professional, their executive team could learn a lot in the world of customer service. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and recommend anyone that is considering using this company to research my complaint. It is extensive. I believe in solar energy, but would never recommend this company to provide you with the panels.
Poor customer service and not truthful. We were misled about the 30 percent refund. It's not a refund. You only get tax credit for your purchase. If you owe tax you get no money back. Their pitch is that you get that money to put towards the purchase. It's only a credit.It took them 8 months to get the permit for installation. The utility co. told me it looked like they forgot about us.Be aware they put a lean on your home, so don't plan on refinancing because they won't work with on that. So So thus far.... The company was very responsive at all levels when they were trying to get me to buy a system. After much thought I decided to purchase, and the installation and financing were pretty seamless. That is when they went silent.Now that my bills are not what the sales people advertised I naturally have some questions.
