I have been living at the New Yorker during semesters for the last 2 years and will be starting my 3rd year at John Jay this fall. The New Yorker has provided me with a welcoming & safe environment. I enjoy the atmosphere and particularly like the workout room that is available for students.

I absolutely loved living at the New Yorker residence despite the obvious wonderful location, EHS was a tremendous help with absolutely everything from fixing any issue in your room (which was always done in sufficient timing) to simply giving you information on some great events happening near by! Every person i encountered in my year living with EHS was great, and always willing to lend a helping hand. I without a doubt would suggest anyone to live there!

This housing is a very good choice if you choose to go to school in nyc, it’s convenient to the subway station and very safe. There is a grocery store right acrossed the street making it even better. Loved it here

The best part about living in the New Yorker was living close to everything. There is always something to do and getting around is so easy. The only issue I had with the location was the amount of tourists at all times, the streets are always crowded. The rooms and bathrooms were nice. The only complaint I have is the small kitchen area. It gets packed at dinner time, I waited up to 30 minutes to be able to cook sometimes. It’s not the worst it’s just inconvenient.
