Living conditions and hospitality were average. Rooms could be much cleaner.

It was a good experience living at EHS New Yorker this summer. The room seemed smaller than pictures represented, but the location of the New Yorker was very convenient which made my situation better.

The elevators were incredibly slow when working, but often were just entirely broken. I actually took the stairs up to the 19th floor on multiply occasions as a result. The staff were very nice when it came to greeting you, but weren't very helpful on any other occasion (i.e. didn't tell me where the carts were, angrily questioned me why I was using the front door when I didn't even know there was a back door, etc.). Overall my experience was positive but there were a few frustrating things: the kitchen could get really crowded and there was at least one stover top broken the entire summer. The elevators on the Clark side were slow and often broke down. Lastly, my mattress was pretty bad, I could feel the spring on my back every night.

Overpaid for Manhattan space that was dimly lit and poorly kept, but it was nice enough and the bedrooms were very large

It was alright. The room itself was nice. The community was awful though. The events were trash/non-existent. The RAs did nothing and had no interaction with residents.

I had extremely horrible experience due to the lack of communication and the security staff. Not only was there an incident on June 28th where I explicitly asked what precautions I should do because my guests and I were coming back after the 1245 am cut off and they were to be staying over night. I did not ask once, I asked four times and each time I was met with the same answer which was that I just needed to sign them in again. The lobby area was very nice however, the rooms and hallways can be updates. Some of the bathrooms were extremely too small especially for three people in one room. Also, the security guard with the ball head, I believe he was one of the supervisors, was very rude and unprofessional.
