Eli often times went radio silent while we were trying to contact him regarding time-sensitive information; we would reach out multiple times for one answer and still no response. This led to making a stressful process even more stressful.

Better communication from from my Lender. More information on what to expect next. It's been 3 weeks since my closing and so.e of my creditors still have not been paid. They were suppose to have been overnighted checks. Theirs no way that was done in a timely manner costing me more in late fees and interest charges.

For one I never even talked to Eli Stella for two Rem was the most incompetent person I have ever worked with and he had no sense of urgency for us. I personally had to get my previous mortgage pay off for him two days after I signed papers. He waited until the last minute to notify me of things we needed and I only found out about most of them because I called him and asked him. I was given a horrible quote on closing costs. Then the loan officer came back and stated there was a mistake. Too late!!! I ended up getting a HELOC, kept my original mortgage, and received a much better deal as a result. Not impressed at all with Mutual of Omaha!

It all started out very promising and the next thing you know we are being ghosted. Not sure why we havent heard from them in several weeks but it has been extremely unprofessional and unacceptable in my opinion. The onmy good to come from this is that it allowed Rocket Mortgage to step in and take care of our needs. Mutual of Omaha should regroup and retrain. The worst mortgage company of the world, with all false advertisements. When their actual refinance rate is at 3.25% as on 6/21/2021 - they advertised 2.342% on CNBC and many other websites. The female loan officer who worked me mentioned if my credit is good then I will definitely get advertised rate. When she pulled my credit report, it is found that I have excellent credit history with 800+ score. Horrible experience. Ivana was very un-professional and Eric lost my paperwork and kept asking me for the same things i already sent and the process took over 2 months, not of my doing.
