This is a difficult review to write as there are some positives and negatives to my Elite experience. The sales and design processes were quite seamless and the communication was really good (hats off to Melissa Trotter and Kaelin Brutscher). My advice is to go over the design addenda with a fine tooth comb, as there was a mistake in the cabinetry hardware that the design rep made upon entry. We selected Elite Homes ( Twin Lakes) due to their reputation we heard but the reality disappointed us. They have no inspection on lot during building , no one knows what their Vendors are doing, no control over work done. Lots of failed promises even after repeated pleas from us. We had to go to BBB to get some attention but they mislead them. Be cautious
3 months into build process;formed openings in the foundation wall being left open; cracked foundation wall; poor communication with buyer concerns; their process always trumps the buyer's satisfaction..
Is Birdeye.com reporting accurate information... I posted a 1 star previously and I went back in to update it to a 4 due to a correction done by Elite Homes and the review as removed.
UPDATE: BUYER BEWARE OF TWIN LAKES HOMES If you move to Twin Lakes be prepared to spend exorbitant amounts of time addressing all their careless mistakes. I would have never bought a home here if I knew what I know now. Poor quality. I have not talked to a single neighbor that has not had to deal with a rash of quality issues. They actually placed my part of driveway on the adjacent lot and had the audacity to ask if I minded if they simply removed the areas that weren't on my property. The process seemed to go smoothly with the help of our realtor. I guess the way of the world is through email but it seems hard to spend this kind of money and never actually talk to a person...seems pretty impersonal to me. I wonder if other older adults purchasing garden homes feel the same...

Kay was the highlight of this experience. There were many delays, 0ver 60 days, my paddle fan on my porch was eliminated and I added it immediately I moved in. Overall I love my house but everyday I find boo boos, I am making a list I strongly suggest that your communication is a priority and you call when things are going to be followed up with. Oh the gutters are to code but they are not sufficient for wooded lots and should be bigger.
