I was thrilled with the excellent level of professionalism and compassion I encountered at the Emergency Animal Hospital of Collin County. My vet suggested that I take my standard poodle - who ingested two leaves of Japanese Yew, the most toxic tree on the planet - for overnight vigilance to the Emergency Animal Hospital of Collin County. We have had to take one of our Goldens to the ER 3 times now. Poor Max, he always gets sick AFTER regular vet hours! First time was bloat, the staff was amazing and Max made a full and quick recovery. The next time he ate a cat toy that had a wire in it. Punctured his intestine. He was there for 3 days. The staff was wonderful and caring and kept us informed throughout the nights. Yesterday Max became ill, vomiting, I rushed him in. Pancreatitis. Again the staff was supportive and informative. Can't thank Dr.Hoyt enough for the care he showed to my dorkie, who had an unfortunate and scary reaction. After several hours and a overnight stay to be safe, my boy is home and doing well. The staff overall is great and the updates they give are comforting. A+to this group!

They did exactly what I needed them to do with my dog. Unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant thing we needed to do, but they were very professional and handled it with compassion and care.
