Safety Advice for People With Emtek Door Handles (very long, skip down to bottom to read highlights) We have had two Emtek door handles that spontaneously failed. Emtek sold us a Lausanne handle set with a flawed exterior finish, which 6 months after installation looked like it was 20 years old. You could literally scratch off the finish with your fingernail! Tried to address with company, was told "normal wear and tear". Was forced to order an exterior replacement for $160 out of pocket. Replacement showed up today, we tested to see if the same pressure causes scratches on the replacement...which it doesn't, of course, and confirms the initial one had a flaw in the manufacturing p... read more

Hi, I'm not happy with the quality of my lockset. The cam bar in the dead bolt is too small for the cross shape in the deadbolt latch and the cam bar slips into a position that it can't effectively open and close the latch. This results in us getting locked out of the house. Do you make a deadbolt that is properly designed and will work?

Bought bluetooth lock sets for all our office doors. Bluetooth won't pair because the app is so out if date it doesn't support a lot of current OS. App has a 1 star rating, which shouldn't even be possible. Have one door set that the mastercode doesn't even work on.

😕With a 7000 sq ft home full of Emtek hardware, a keyed lock set to the garage failed with a bent latch. After calling customer service this morning. I was told to take it apart and see if I could identify the problem. If it was broken latch, the customer service rep said she'd be glad to send a new new one.
