For now I give it two stars. My step father is there and clearly cannot communicate well. The case worker or manager came to me and said there can only be one person who can call to get updates. She was a little rude the way she comes across. Not sure if it was a bad day, but she ought to be more considerate to those who are not used to their loved one in a facility such as this. I was admitted two days after a very complicated and painful femur/hip surgery. The evening I was admitted, a NA was transferring me to the bed and forgot to lock the wheels first. The bed rolled away and I fell down on my twisted damaged leg and immediately knew that I had stretched the still-mending muscle and tendons surrounding my surgery. I tried to communicate this to the doctor and the nurses, but they would not take me seriously. "Your butt never even hit the floor" I was told as a reason for disbelief. What was real... read more

Spoke to Karli in admissions about transferring my father from the hospital to rehab upon recommendation from the referring hospital. She expedited his transfer when no one else could. This was the ONLY redeeming quality of this blood sucking money grab establishment. They assessed my father agreed he needed much more care. They said he could not even speak. My father was admitted to this acute patient rehabilitation facility to improve his balance and muscle tone after having surgery for a brain bleed due to a fall. Presbyterian Hospital indicated he would receive intensive PT/OT. Visiting hours are from 1 pm - 8 pm and during COVID only one person (and the same person always) could visit his room and other visitors were permitted to stand outside his room window and converse by telephone. Dr.s and physical therapist were great. Unfortunately the food was way below par. Service was lacking also. Same issues day to day, missing food, utensils etc. Slow service, no sense of caring wait to get help for bathroom, etc. When u ask for help it's as if you bother some of them.
