The place to be for rehab, staff is caring and wonderful very professional only been here two days and I'm already walking I'm amazed I am simply amazed

They need to treat their employees better and in return, the patients would be in good hands. Do NOT take your people, your friends and/or pets to this place. My daughter was abused and neglected at Encompass. This is the WORST place to be. Their employees hate the place (the ones I spoke to).

This facility nearly killed my brother through medical neglect, unsafe discharge decisions, and failure to follow basic patient-safety protocols — and the damage they caused is not temporary. It is lifelong. My brother was admitted to Encompass Rehab after a serious spinal cord injury that left him unable to walk, unable to use his hands normally, unable to urinate on his own, and medically fragile. My mom was put in this place with a server TBI and she has been there 2 weeks and given 1 shower. She said food is nasty and she is a fall risk with an alarm on bed and wheel chair. We were there today and got her out of bed to give her a shower, bed alarm went off for 10 mins before anyone came to check on her. That to me is dangerous. She is able to get up in the middle of the night and move around the room and pack up her stuff and put it in her hamper with no one even Knowing. If you think that this place is good to leave your loved one at the mercy of nurses and nursing assistants, you are wrong. My mother had a severe stroke which left her unable to move, practically blind. I thought this center was good for her rehabilitation, but we were wrong, we traveled from New York and for 4 nights and 3 days I stayed by her side, the nightmare began, I saw how they took my mother at 7:00 in the morning to have breakfast and then her therapies, I had time to observe what was happening there, I arrived one... read more
