This place is awesome! Came in with lower back and stomach pain it's crazy how the doctor went right to the areas that were bothering me. Come to find out I stretched my psoas major muscle .Never had I ever had a great experience, all the staff are very professional and caring. I also got a call to see how I was doing Would definitely recommend and go back there .

I will say this - the therapists who are on staff are terrific, patient, caring, professional, and know what they are doing. Occupational, Speech and Physical - I'd give these people 5 stars. Yet, as an overall rehab facility this place is a nightmare of miscommunication and ineptness. I could not even begin to count the amount of times they could not find the special meds my mom needed to take each day, the amount of times it took forever for a nurse or staff member to attend to her when needed, the staff doctors who had ... read more

This facility nearly killed my brother. My brother was admitted to this rehab facility following a hospital stay for a spinal cord injury that left him unable to walk, unable to use his hands, and unable to safely care for himself. He also has Down syndrome, dementia and a history of prior blood clots, placing him at extremely high medical risk. Spinal injury patients have some of the highest clot rates in medicine. Gloria, the person that tries to convince you to sign up for this facility outright lied to myself and my brother. We specifically asked if I would have a private room when being admitted to their Brooksville location and she assured us my room would be private. That was a lie, and I was put into a shared room. She came to visit me at the facility. I was staying at in Oxford, Florida because she worked at the Ocala Encompass and was close by. If you have acute problem DO NOT rehab at Ocala rehab. The staff is not helpful. The therapist are wonderful , if you don't have issues that inhibit your focus because of pain. My loved one had a severe bowel blockage and instead of treating the severe problem, they just kept filling her with multiple enemas, magnesium, miralax. When I questioned what was the next step (maybe a visit to ER) I was given a puzzled look. After 2 days of my loved one suffering we did go to ER, but nothing was done.
