I would give No Stars if possible. The therapy was not enough. Mainly They Lied about billing my insurance and I got a HUGE bill because insurance wouldn't cover the rehab stay. Insurance said they should have been honest about what my costs there would be and that because they didn't submit for authorization correctly and they lied about not being in network so that costs would have been covered. 21,000. Later now we're paying the price for their dishonesty.

I would Avoid this place if you care about the person that is going there. My Mom went there and was in worst shape when she came out. It seems to me that they do not have a clue to what they are doing and there are much better choices like BROOKS that will help the person that is going there. I would never allow MY MOM to go there again.

If you have an elderly person or a child, Encompass Rehab Hospital, Jacksonville Florida is not a suitable location for them. My mom, 93, was released from Mayo Hospital Jacksonville after a bout with a UTI, heart failure, and pneumonia. Mom, as she has aged, has become allergic and sensitive to many medications and therefore, we must be very careful with her dosages and medications. This is not uncommon for aging patients.
