My experience with this so called hospital has been terrible. I wouldn't even give them one star - that's too many. They dropped the ball, gave us the run around and could care less about whether my husband ever walks again.

Not one person who came into the room to help my mother talked to anyone else. 25 minutes to wait for someone to take her to the bathroom. One "nurse" said 'I need to hear it from the horses mouth' referring to a conversation THEY just had about her headache, and sore throat. The level of incompetence at this facility was outstanding. Too many things to list.

Understaffed and mix of doctors and nurses. Patient source of pain not looked into. Many of CNA level staff either over worked or not trained or just bad so poor care and mistakes. Call buttons constantly go off unanswered. PT was a mix, OT was excellent. Specialist physicians a mix: excellent to poor. Patient made progress but offset by negative other things.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. The PT and OT were high quality but the medical care was abysmal. I had to constantly check in on medical staff to ensure that my family member received care, timely and correct medication, and pain relief. If you're not willing or able to make visiting Encompass your full time job and you or a family member has medical needs beyond physical rehabilitation, do not come here.

I had excellent staff while working in the gym during my rehab however, 80% of the night staff and so called nurses were absolutely terrible. I don't have enough time and there aren't enough character letters to tell you how bad of an experience I had in this place. I do feel bad because all my physical and occupational therapy staff in the gym were incredibly helpful and patient with me but it all changes when you get back to your room. I would never recommend this to anybody and I am a really sorry if you have no choice.
