This place was total s*** my father went there for physical therapy after a broken hip they hardly gave him any therapy at all kept him in a wheelchair the whole time that he was not in physical therapy the AIDS did not walk into the bathroom or help him get dressed when he needed to get dressed or shave unless occupational therapy was there or physical therapy was there he had no care he was removed today and he is 10 times worse than he was when he went in he can't even get up and walk with help to the bathroom I'm telling... read more

My husband was sent to encompass health in Sarasota after spending a week at Lakewood Ranch, Medical Center. By the following week, his health declined dramatically. It was never brought to my attention, and by the time I got there on Friday, he was in critical condition. They had planned on leaving him there and still doing a few more tests. I demanded that he be sent to Sarasota Memorial where he got there in very critical condition and passed away a few days later. I would never put anybody back in that rehab hospital. It... read more

1 star for being opened. My mother got a bedsore positive for klebsiella n also Dr. Egbert Liquete took her off lasix,my mother is a congestive heart failure patient.you never take a person w congestive heart failure off of the med that is keeping the water off the heart n lungs. Then she got pneumonia I had to get her out of there. But they wanted the bed so bad to sell to another patient they moved her to the pines n a possible sexual assault on her n encompass would NOT take her back that night she didn't have an issue y... read more

I am in here for rehab. Their system is very strange to me. If it works, I will be grateful. The hospital part is another matter. So far, in 5 days, I have been seen by three different doctors. They don't come at any given time, and one came after 9 PM when I was asleep. This afternoon no doctor saw me. I am not allowed out of bed on my own because I have to have assistance. Rarely has a call bell been answered in less than 15 minutes. One time I called because I was having an irregular heartbeat, and it was 20 minutes. I wa... read more

I visited there for several weeks of driver training required for medical re I statement of my license. It was the worst experience of my life and Myers said to leave and go to the office n St Pete Healthsouth and instead of 3 mos. training, it took only 4 weeks. St Pete healthsouthis much better.
