This was not my first stay at Encompass, so I'm acquainted with the Hospital (I'm 76 years old) I firmly believe that all of the staff are overworked and underpaid. My care was great after recovering from the influenza; getting back up and walking; my Case Manager, Teena, was great working with me and my son, David Bradley. Took care of dad like he was their own family. Many employees are to thank for his recovery but for sure Abbie and her team of Physical therapists were top notch, always showing care and compassion for everyone I saw them working with. I love the fact they were always looking for feedback as to things they could do better at Encompass. I thank them a great deal for all the work they put in.

My mother is there now and has been there for about a week. She's recovering from neck surgery and is 74 years old. She cannot stop talking about how wonderful they're taking care of her and how tender they are and what a wonderful place it is. In the short time I've been there , they answered all my questions and been very polite and helpful.

I was admitted to Encompass on a stretcher, so atrophied from a month in the hospital I couldn't even pull myself up to a sitting position. Four weeks later I walked (with a walker that had tennis balls like an old dude) to the car to go home. Now it's 3 months later, and with daily exercise and PT I can walk around without any aid, navigate stairs with only stabilizing on a railing, and building muscle mass and confidence daily. Not family friendly. My husband has been in the hospital for 2 months. Im not allow to stay over night with him. Visiting hours are 8-8 everything about this sucks.
