Not family friendly. My husband has been in the hospital for 2 months. Im not allow to stay over night with him. Visiting hours are 8-8 everything about this sucks.

First off I want to thank some staff that were exceptional. Ginny and Elizabeth are outstanding nurses and I appreciate them so much for their help while I was at encompass. Secondly, I want to address inappropriate physical touch leaving me feeling sexually violated on my first day. I reported it. I discussed it with the quality person. I don't want to file legal charges, but if it's happened to me, it's happened to other patients and that concerns me greatly. I was touched inappropriately on my first night during a "skin test". Night shift acted as if I was bothering them, and finally came to my room after I got myself to the bathroom and was back in bed. My wife was greeted by a nurse telling her "hope your not staying long." Didnt receive my patient journal until discharge day. Then they did not call all my prescriptions in when I left. You have to follow up on everything here or it won't get taken care of. Bad experience all the way around!

This place does not deserve one star. It's amazing patients ever recover here. They refuse to take mental health into consideration. Every nurse and therapist is cold and clinical. They do not treat the patients like humans. If their family isn't around to dress them, wash their hair, and take them outside for the occasional breath of fresh air they would all just be sedentary. It was a heartbreaking experience to have my loved one in their care.

Even though health professionals in town recommended Encompass as one of the best rehab hospitals in town, I found it to be quite mediocre indeed. After three days I was ready to literally walk out of the place. The food is absolutely terrible and always served room temperature (who wants room-temp veggies and hamburger?). The cleaning staff did a superficial job (don't ask me about the bathrooms!).
