Doctor Mark is a great dentist but ever since they sold to the Smilist the office has a lot to be desired. You have to insist they schedule an appointment to correct your issue they won't schedule an appointment without a pre authorization and they didn't even follow through with that. Because of lack of care for me as patient by office staff my issue extended to problems with 3 teeth. I contacted the office today to speak to office manager at 9:15 and 5:30 and no call back. I had gone to Encore dental for implants and a full upper denture. Dentist was very good but their lab work was horrible . I was also told that the lower implants 2 would do the job . $ 11,000.00 later they fallout its just horrible and they are nocheaper then other dental places . I wouldn't waste my money if I had to do it again . I'd check around. They have miniimplants and alot more choices then I was offered at Encore .

I had a tooth pulled here 2 weeks ago by doctor bland. Still today my face is swollen into my ear and jaw, I can barley hear over the ringing in my ear on that side of my face, I've been to the emergency room multiple times in the middle of night to have nerve block injected into my mouth. I havent slept in over a week and I've lost almost 10lbs. I was throwing up and thought it was an infection, The hospital told me that's a normal reaction to exceptional nerve pain. The Encore Dental office is great. The service and care from the Dentist is great as well. The girls at the front desk are great. If it wasn't for the new "smilist" group that has taken over I would have given a 5 star. The new Smilist group receives a one star from me. They send out the same bill twice in one week for something they should bill the insurance company. I look at my statements from our insurance company. It never matches what this smilist group bills for. It's happened on more then one occasion. Makes me wonde... read more

Where do I begin, I broke a piece of a molar that I needed fixed even temporarily. I had an appointment on February 1 2023. The front office staff left a lot to be desired. However, Dr. Patel and her technician were amazing. I need a significant amount of work done. We spoke of a few different plans and would pick one that works for me and my finances. These people are the worst!! Everything is fine unless you have a problem with their work -- then they don't want to know you. After complaining of having trouble with a bridge, I was told "not to come back"! They actually said those exact words. So they take your money and do the procedure but if you have any issues they don't want to know you. It's almost too bad to be true but believe me it is.

Worst customer service ever. Went for an implant consultation in June. Was told it would take a couple weeks for insurance to get back to them with pricing. I called repeatedly for an update so I could move ahead and get my tooth fixed. Never got a call back. Was told on several occasions that Ashton, I guess she's in charge of insurance , was in a meeting and would call me back. No response. I guess they don't want the business. Telling it as it is in my experience, love Dr. Mark & Dr. Mike and there Dental staff they are great !... as far as the Oral Surgeon department goes they will leave you for dead and make you feel like you are at their mercy and not to mention very simply dont care !
