I have worked in property management and have real life experience satisfyingly tenants and owners. Excel is not in my opinion very responsive, or pro active or customer centric. Excel is the least responsive HOA I have work with as an owner of 3 houses in DFW, all with HOAs. If you have an issue that could cost money , its not going to be resolved any time soon. We understand that you want work done in the front of your unit but as your Board has communicated, they must focus association funds on the non-cosmetic issues as they are a higher priority. In the 6 years I have lived in my condo we have gone through at least 4 different property mgmt companies with Excel being the most recent switch. The service is less than acceptable. There is little to no communication from them regarding normal operations such as water shut-offs and their poor handling of our two year long struggle to rebuild a tornado-destroyed building have 30+ owners in the lurch. Hi ****, I see in your correspondence with your property manager that many responses are given on the same day as your request, oftentimes within an hour; this is well within acceptable customer service response times but we do always strive to do better. The worst experience ever. At Panquinellis Parker Estates, our HOA newsletter informed us that some pipes and sprinklers may have been damaged due to trees being cut down and we should notify them of any water leakage. Water was coming in my garage so I called a plumber since I thought the leak was my responsibility. The plumber could find no leaks in any pipes in my home and told me the water had to be coming from outside my home. Hi ******, vendors are dispatched and work is done at the direction of your Board of Directors. With your plumber indicating that there was no leak, and the water gone from the garage, there did not appear to be a need for the Association to dispatch their own plumber. At your insistence, the Board dispatched (at their own expense) a plumber who confirmed the diagnosis that your plumber had made, which was that there were no active leaks on your property.
