It was a perfect location for my business purpose. I cooked in the room for dinner two nights and found the kitchenette to be convenient and functional. Breakfast was as expected. The exercise room needs a little help, but was sufficient.

The hotel was a little older but well maintained and everyone was very friendly.

Nice Place with some flaws My family just spent last weekend at this hotel, attending a wedding in Decatur. I cannot say anything bad about rooms, service, breakfast, etc. If you have family of 4-6 people and need to stay in the hotel for 4 nights or longer, this is good place. Each room has a refrigerator, a range, a microwave, some pots and pans, etc. Would I stay there one more time or would I recommend this place to others. Sorry, but no way. Two reasons. It’s sad that this property has become somewhat of a long term residential option for many of the guests. On three separate occasions I saw people in “house clothes” updating their accts with cash cobbled together in assorted bills and change. This is not the type of establishment I want to stay - and I chose it for its proximity to my daughter’s home in nearby Shallowford estates. I guess I need to be farther away and find better logging.
