very disgusted The room was not clean, found a hair extension in the corner by the tv, reading light by the sofa did not work,-coffee pot sounded like a concrete mixer and did not cut off when pouring a cup before the perk cycle stopped, thus hot coffee all over the counter and your feet. Not happy with hotel I arrived around 4 am and there was a sign on the office that read office is only open from 7 am till 11 pm. It did not say that I could call them to come and give me a key. I slept in the lobby until around 7:10 when an employee walked thru and said that the office personnel was not in at the time then came out a few minutes later and got my info and gave me a key. Studio Plus in Birmingham - Nasty Dwelling I did not stay in the hotel. There were roaches crawling around the room. The bathroom looked dirty. I complained to front desk and was moved to another room that was in the same shape. I decided to check out. The hotel is old and run down and in need of re-model. The exterior doors leading to the room corridors had broken locks. There is no elevator. Disgusting mildew smell.

nasty and miserable the girl at the front desk was as sweet as she could be;however, everything else about the hotel was awful. It was dirty...no garbage cans in the room....did not smell clean...shower was broken....we stayed for only a few hours then just had to leave...it was gross!

Thought Studio Plus was a better hotel Good area, just not very good service. Called front desk for blow dryer and toothpaste, said "it is provided but you have to come get it ." There were several hairs in the tub of my shower. If I had not already spent the night and leaving, I would have requested to change rooms. Just unkept with hard bed. I will not stay here again.

The room looked nothing like the pictures, the appliances didn't work, the carpet and couch were stained and there were no ashtrays in a smoking room and the front desk had none for us either.

Studio Plus - Birmingham - Wildwood The hotel is just off the expressway and in an excellent location to various eateries. It's also just minutes away from various malls. My main issue with this particular location of Studio Plus is that even the non-smoking rooms smelled like cigarette smoke. I complained and they polite changed my room. However, even THAT smelled of smoke also and it was at the other end of the corridor. Not a good place for non-smokers............fyi!

needs maintainance Security door to outside would not close and lock. Trash in the stairwell. Carpet worn. One good thing was that the fridge was spotless.

Studio Plus Bad Experience I have stayed at Studio Plus all over the country as an independant insurance adjuster. I normally do not take part in reviews but feel compelled to say this Studio Plus is the most filthy one I have ever seen. The check-in clerk assigned me to a room with feces splatter all over the commode. I asked if the room had been cleaned as a stay over or new arrival. He informed me it was cleaned for a new arrival.
