We were in Salem for the weekend at a friend's weekend. Hotel rooms were hard to come by and this was one was on-par for being overpriced (they all were). But you could do worse. It's a solid, comfortable option, Only issue is there aren't vents in any of the bathrooms. That was weird and antiquated. Other than that, good experience.

Business response:

Jason, thank you so much for the feedback. It’s a pleasure knowing your visit with us was an enjoyable one. We hope to see you again soon at Extended Stay America. Sincerely, Hotel Management

forlorn rooms, helpful staff The easy things have been updated (curtains, bedding, artwork) but the room had industrial paint colors and looked rather forlorn. The room was a good size, with a working kitchenette with an island counter that was low enough for use as a desk---but didn't have a desk chair. Breakfast was prepackaged muffins, granola bars, instant oatmeal, and Coffeemate. The hotel is in a weirdly remote office park location and yet it was expensive for the condition of the rooms. Helpful staff.

Business response:

Thank you for being our guest. We are glad to read you liked the spaciousness of your room and had an overall pleasant visit. However, we are sorry for the inconvenience you experienced in your room. We will share your feedback with the appropriate team members so that they can take the necessary steps to ensure better experiences for our guests. We appreciate your visit and your comments, and we hope to have another opportunity to welcome you back to our hotel. Sincerely, Hotel Management
