Terrible Front desk was helpful and friendly and fast but room was below par...trash cans were not empty..musty smell in room and beds were full size not queen size and there was no shampoo or conditioner or soap

Someone left a urine sample bottle with a name on it , latex gloves and a bio hazard bag in the drawer, which we found upon arrival. I found this rather disturbing! No one was working at the desk check in , I stood there waiting for over 10 minutes. The only reason I stayed is because all of the other hotels were booked and this was close to downtown Charleston.

Great location. It was nice to be able to go out for a nice walk along the river in the morning. The room itself was good enough - large and clean with a comfortable bed - nothing special. The one disappointing thing was the breakfast. I expected more than oatmeal packets and granola bars.
We loved the location of this hotel. We were easily able to walk to Cooper River and Patriots Point. Sullivans Island was ~15 minutes away and downtown was ~15 minutes. The room itself was okay. It was quiet and clean. Dishes were not provided until requested and, even then, the set was very basic. Room service only occurred if your booking was longer than a week—our’s was 5 nights so we didn’t get any cleanings at all. The bed was supposed to be queen sized but it was smaller. The bed was hard and so were the pillows. They had no computer or printer for guest to print out a boarding pass. Had to go to the library in Charleston for this. Also we’re supposed to have a breakfast. Only had a coffee bar.Anytime I ask the desk for something, the response was we don’t have that here.
