Do not use phone. The hotel itself was sufficient, nothing fancy, but it was clean and quiet. It more than sufficed for our needs, but I used the phone. DO NOT USE THE PHONE. On the phone, it said free local calls. Dial 9 and the 7 digit number. So I did, not the area code or 1 in front of the number, just exactly what the phone said to do for a local call and the calls went through. Well, I was charged $46.00 for 3 local calls. Great stay Newly remodeled and looking nicer the rooms here are always clean and the staff is top notch. Pillows and mattresses could be better.

Very nice Location is great and the room was nice. It was like mini condo. There wasnt very much hot water though for shower. Other than that, good stay.

weekend in Charleston This hotel was cheap, clean, and convenient for a solo traveler responsible for his own accommodations on an in-and-out business trip. No frills more than a coffee urn in the office, but the rate is less than surrounding lodging and right at the base of the bridge leading into Charleston, perfect access location, plenty of good restaurants in the area, and surrounded by other hotel chains and relatively quiet setting. Good stay The hotel was being upgraded during our stay but it never interfered with our stay.The staff is great and friendly. The rooms were nice. I would stay there again.
