Cheap, Clean, with Friendly Staff, but Outdated My stay here was okay, probably better than I expected when I arrived on the premises. The staff are excellent - very friendly and doing the best that they can. The room was outdated but pretty clean. The furnishings are old and part of my shower broke on my last day there (and the staff were very accommodating and allowed me to shower in another room). Descent place. Grab and go breakfast as described.
Your absolute cheapest option to get a lot of people out of the weather and into beds at the same time. Which of course comes with some tradeoffs--deferred maintenance, a bricked-in pool, an array of unpleasant smells as you walk down the hall, etc. I did not see any vermin and the sheets were clean. Otherwise, you kinda get what you pay for here.
