The first room I was offered literally smelled, very strongly (maybe of mildew?) To their credit, the staff immediately switched me to another (larger and nicer) room without any push-back and apologized. The new room was much better but still smelled just a tad odd. The property is clearly a bit old, worn, and dim, although I didn't see any signs of visible uncleanliness. The exercise room is small but clean and the machines worked fine. They overbooked and did not have my room and charged me more to upgrade. I was not able to use a restroom until I checked in.
