Thought it would be better Checked in late with no problems. Staff was very friendly, personable. The lobby has a motel feel. The hallways are dark and dreary, which I was hoping was not the case once inside the room. Wrong. Once again I felt like I was in a cheap motel. The bathroom vent in the ceiling was loud and had a folded up paper in the side, I guess to help limit the noise. WE over night The bed was very hard. The A/C unit - kind of worked - the fan barely - no shampoo and there was a big crack down the center of the tub. the room was clean and otherwise OK.

Pass on revisting this hotel Non Smoking rooms and hallways reak of smoke! Drapes are dirty; no screens in some windows. Beer can displays on window sills as you pull into the front entrance. No toiletries supplied so make sure you pack all that you'll need, including toilet paper. Close to venue and shopping ; friendly staff.

Close to Merriweather but needs serious renovation If you dont mind not having your bed linens and rooms changed/clean daily,and taking your own trash out (if you stay 3 nights or more) and if you dont like any hotel amenities (there are NONE) ... this is the place to stay ... otherwise, I dont recommend it. I must say that the front desk staff were very friendly and responsive - this place could use some serious renovations (toilet seat was broken (ill!) and the bathroom tub/shower had cracks.... Hotel staff was wonderful, however the rooms are in poor shape. We stayed there because we had dogs with us. Otherwise we would have stayed elsewhere.

Low budget hotel quality To begin with, the clerk at the front desk appeared to be sleeping when we first arrived, and then had a lot of difficulty checking us in, even though everything was reserved and pre-paid. The hotel looks new from the outside, but the inside appears to be older style. The bathroom had a quarter roll of toilet paper, and no replacement roll, so I soon had to get a new roll.
