Hurricane Hotel Due to the hurricane I am not making my opinion reflect negative because I believe it caused some of the issues I experienced. The hotel is suppose to have dishes and cookware in the rooms to use but they hardly had any due to the hotel being cooked solid. I booked this room thinking it would be great to have a kitchenette for a week but that wasn’t the case. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly BUT the amount of animals and noise was rough. Not that great Not clean and the breakfast was a stone cold joke. Also the lady at check in was obviously spaced out as she did not credit my AAA account and so over charged me by some $30.00.

On the second night, I noticed the room smelled faintly of smoke. My guess is because on my first night I had to turn the A/C down. So the next day, while I was gone, it warmed up in the room enough for me to notice. Also, I had prepaid for my room, but I had to leave a day early. I informed the front desk that I might have to leave early the day before I ended up leaving. They told me at the time that a refund wouldn't be an issue.
