Convenient To The Airport I booked through Expedia and was surprised when the one night was booked fully paid two weeks in advance of my stay. I called to verify and requested a room change when I was assigned a "smoking" room. I liked the hotel overall. The room was practical, roomy, relaxing, perfect for two people to stay for a week or so. There was some noise from the fridge compressor and late guests, but I slept well in the end. Average convenient hotel Extended Stay Fairbanks is located close to the airport, Fred Meyer, and Wal-greens, and has super friendly staff. You have to ask for any extras for the room like pots and pans and dishes. The rooms are clean and comfortable. For the price, it's worth it. And you can bring your pets for a reasonable fee.
Great Place To Stay Went back to this hotel for our 1 year anniversary they were able to give us the same room we had the 1st time around which made it that much better. The pool was drained which was a bummer. The lobby was pretty dirty but I knew it was from construction workers that were working on a building next door and at this time of the year its hard to keep up with that kind of dirt. We saw the Northern Lights We extended our Princess Cruise with extra days in Fairbanks in hopes of seeing the Northern Lights and we did! So exciting and beautiful. Our room was very comfortable with fridge, stove, sink, microwave, ironinb board, and large bath. We had to ask for coffee pot and when we needed new towels and such, but okay. The laundry was less than desirable but doable. It was dirty, hot and not all machines were working.
