Got this hotel at the last minute for a trip to see the Rose Parade. Was surprised to find that it was very clean and comfortable for the area and price. It's an older hotel that's been renovated and was good for a quick overnight stay with the family. Room had a kitchenette with sink, 2 electric burner stovetop, full size fridge, and microwave. I had stayed at the hotel before and had a good experience however this time the room had many issues the stove didn't work at all the Tv remote worked intermittently. There was a dog down the hall that barked all night. At check out it was found that I had been double charged for the room once by hotels.com and once by the hotel themselves. The charge made by the hotel was refunded immediately and I was told that due to all of the issues of the night the charges from hotels.com would also be reversed its been about 3 weeks ... read more

Give me a real blanket! Nothing needed repaired. People were friendly. The biggest problem was the quality of the blankets & towels. The blanket was very thin we had to get a second one for the second night. The towels were scratchy & thin. It seems to have gone downhill since the last time we were there. Doors were slamming & waking us up on Sunday & it was not at all peaceful. Monday was better. Rude manager, maid service and not accommodating. I've stayed here twice, but this will be my last time. The staff are not overly accommodating with requests and the maid service is downright rude and sloppy. Even one of the managers at the hotel (female, I think her name began with a J or G) was snippy. Anyway, it seemed better last time in April when we were here, but given how it's run now, I wouldn't ever recommend this place.
