Essence? Me? No never again lol Omg! Let me start off by saying this hotel was the second we stayed at. The first one! Was AWFUL. I wish availability had been in order by the time I booked n I would've stayed here for both nights. The staff was THE BEST group of people. The ones there to check me in were the kindest people ever. My room was SPOTLESS. Hated attending essence, it was hot n my feet hurt from all the walking but this hotel m the employees were great.

Good stay but little comforts The room was good except for the comforts. We were close to the front desk so we heard all the talking. There were no cups or coffee pot as in other hotels. Other than that it was great. It was clean, a good location that walkable to some restaurants.

Family business This was a good place for us to stay since we were not just visiting. We were there for family business in the surrounding area. The building was old, had a weird smell, not bad, just weird, but clean. We were very comfortable in our room/kitchenette. The staff and management were very friendly. There moto is, "need something, just ask". They mean it so take it to heart. They were always happy to accomodate. If you're looking to be near the downtown area, this wouldn't be the place for you.

graduation stay Stayed 5 nights, hotel was clean and quiet, room was comfortable. Best part of my stay was the staff, they were so very helpful, polite and positive.

My stay was very comfortable, I had a very nice time in my hometown. I visited all my family and friends. Ate a lot of good food. I gain 5 pounds the week I was in New Orleans.
