Great location and Above Average hotel We enjoyed the size of our room. Furnishings were modern and adequate. We had a deluxe room. The only downside was the bathroom was not clean. Toilet, sink and shower were poorly cleaned if at all. I bought Lysol to sanitize the bathroom and to be safe I sprayed down the linens for peace of mind.... Guess you can't have it all. April 2014

Sauberes Hotel - große Zimmer Zimmer ca. 45 qm mit Wohnbereich und sep. Küche. Fußläufig 20 Min. zu Universal Studios. Frühstück Kaffee, Orangensaft, Joghurt, Muffins und Obst zum Mitnehmen. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen!

Good basic hotel If you are looking for a cheap hotel with breakfast and in walking distance to Universal Studios (use Portofino Bay Hotel's garden walk), restaurants and a Walgreen's, then this is for you. This is not a luxury hotel experience but it was clean and suited our needs.
So close to Universal, you could walk. Everything we needed was available in our room. Very clean and comfortable. It was the perfect place to stay for our family vacation. Would definitely stay again.

Was a nice hotel very big room and clean don't believe bad reviews this hotel great big rooms and very clean it's exactly what I paid for

OK hotel Good location - close to the Universal Park -- could almost walk there. OK Room with a full kitchen. Did not realize they would only clean once a week and since we stayed for two nights, we did not see the housekeeping staff. Quiet hotel. Breakfast was coffee, yogurt and packaged snacks. Free wifi and parking which is a real plus. No extra fees were tacked on to reservation.

Nice for price but... Ok so you get what you pay for. Nicely Redone rooms (paint and flooring anyway). Kitchen is still cheap. 1 of the burners on the stove was loosely setting in the hole and the electrical hookup gone. The 1 frying and 1 pot are functional but if you plan on cooking bring your own. Likewise the plate ware is limited to the number of guests in the room but they only give you enough dish soap and dishwasher detergent for 1 set of washing.
