Horrible Service, Bad conditions We checked in late on a Friday night. We had to wait 10 minutes for someone to arrive at the desk to check us in. We were given a smoking room even though I had specifically reserved non-smoking. The 3rd floor hallway smelled like a huge ashtray. And the odor in our room was barely tolerable. The fold-out sofa had cigarette burns, and the mattress was not in good condition. There were not enough towels, pillows, or blankets for the sofa bed, either. On Saturday we arrived back at the room, ag... read more
filthy, cuum stain on blanket, no refund i could list other things like the overwhelming hallway odor or filthy elevator but i'm pretty sure the subject title sums it up.... at least the lobby is nice.
Overpriced even at a discount for the poorly maintained and poor attitude of the staff 1) Hallway reeked of cat urine. 2) Cobwebs in the kichentte doorway. 3) Dirty dishes in the cabinettes 4) Swimming pool was dirty and had cigarette butts in it as well as around the poolside area(looked like the designated smoking area of a bar.) 5) Sheets with yellow stains on the one bed. 6) Pubic hair on the toilet bowl. 7) Last but not least The SAME DAM WOMAN snapped at my daughter (Briana) when we where checking out and Briana was pa... read more
No This hotel was for extended stay, so no new towels, shampoos, coffee and so on.
Forgettable - Probably never again. Not a "Bad" Hotel. Just more for the contactor in town for work that has a few weeks and want's a kitchenette to save on costs. I'm a Salesman in my 40's and expected more character and service. This is a total do-it-yourself Hotel.
Better on other stays As with the entire ESA chain this hotel was remodeled not long ago. I've stayed there several times and this is the first time I've encountered any problems. (Sheets stained-something red, could have been blood, dead bugs on kitchen floor, short on some kitchen utensils, bathroom cleaning not great) Contacted the manager and he brought new sheets and kitchen stuff to my room immediately. I will give them another try on my next time in Pittsburgh but if it's a repeat of this last time that's it.
Equipment failures,NOT IMPRESSED The good: allowed our family to check in 45 minutes early.Spacious room, comfy bed. The bad:The refrigerator in the room was not very cold at all, just cool. The elevator broke an hour after arrival. We have a newborn, plus 2 other children, you can imagine all the luggage that had to be pack down a flight of stairs plus a baby when we checked out. Elevator supposed to be fixed next day.It was pouring down the rain and we had to park our car at the side door, which we found out that the lock w... read more
