It was ok, cleanish. No towels and had to go to front desk to get them. Area is not safe, but we stayed there because it’s only a 5 min walk to PIR.

The bed was super hard. The hotel doesn’t look anything like it’s pictures. It’s in a really bad part of town. The staff was friendly, and breakfast was ok. 2 of the 3 days the eggs and sausage links were cold and gravy was barely warm, the biscuits were hard one day but good the other 2 days. The spa was closed - didn’t explain why and not noted on their website, which was a huge disappointment as after long days of sight seeing we wanted to relax in it, which is a main reason we booked here.

The property was clean and well maintained. Our check in staff person was Robyn and she was wonderful. Everyone wanted to contribute to a great stay. The breakfast was amazing. Biscuits and gravy?Really and eggs. We were in heaven. For the price, it is a must stay.

Basic Hotel - close to Portland University When we fist arrived, they had us booked on the first floor. After asking to be moved, they were able to accommodate our request. The hotel isn't near anything walkable, but we found a great Italian take out restaurant less than 1 mile away.

Night clerk didn't answer the phone 3 times for a no-contact check-in. Had to yell inside to get their attention. Sink didn't drain at all. Appliances are old. Top of desk was very scraped. Clean and comfortable enough! Cheaper than AirBnB, better than Motel 6.
