great deal Overall we were very impressed with the property. We were missing a remote (in a handicapped room) and iron when we checked into the room but the front desk quickly resolved the issues. The room was equipped with full kitchen, but the next morning we had to call for utensils (forks, spoons) which were also missing from our room. We did some laundry a few nights in-the washer/dryer are free to use for guests which was great! Could have been better. Room was nice but we did not realize it was extended stay until we checked in. That was okay but we never got our room cleaned the entire time we were there. They told us at check in that it would only be cleaned once a week. I guess we just missed the schedule or something. The room and hallways were full of "cricket" bugs as well as our neighbors room. Great Stay We stayed at the Candlewood for a couple of nights on our vacation. The rooms were spacious and clean. The drain in the bathtub drained slowly, but they fixed it promptly after we reported it. It was a little noisy with the room upstairs coming in for the night after we did and the morning we slept in a little, we could hear the doors slamming all up and down the halls around us. EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE AT CANDLEWOOD SUITES IN SAN ANTONIO THE HOTEL WAS EXCELLENT. IT WAS CLEAN, COMFORTABLE AND THE STAFF WERE HELPFUL. I PLAN TO STAY THERE ON MY NEXT VISIT TO SAN ANTONIO.

Great Place to Stay This hotel was great. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean. The pool was clean and even had a hot tub. Very good experience. My only complaint was the beds were not comfortable for me at all...but my husband loved them.

new hotel All was good except when I returned to my room at the end of the night and noticed I had no remote for my television. I called the front desk and was told they gave the last one away and I could get one in the morning, but I was only there for an overnight stay and a remote the next day did me no good!

Nice room and helpful staff Being an extended stay hotel, our room had a full-sized refrigerator, microwave, cooktop, DISHES, and dishwasher. Our bathroom was large, very clean and the room was plenty large and comfortable. The traffic to get to the hotel was VERY BAD and the front desk says it's like that every weekday from 4:30-7:30p. They were so friendly and helpful, though, that we soon forgot the bumper to bumper traffic.

Very Good Hotel This hotel is good in every way. The staff is excellent. The room I stayed in was outstanding and very clean and comfortable. There are lots of retail establishments in the immediate vicinity. Everything was just excellent. I have stayed in a lot of hotels over the years and this is one of the best.
