Awesome Stay in San Antonio This is a great hotel. It's brand new, very clean, and the staff was super friendly. The rooms are nice and include a full kitchen. Sure, it's not top of the line luxury. That's a different kind of hotel. However, for the price and quality this place is hard to beat.

Appears to be a new hotel. Very nice. Good location with a strip mall within walking distance. We stayed here for Tejas Rodeo. Would definately go back again, to the hotel and tejas rodeo.

Very Good Place to Stay We enjoyed our stay at Candlewood Suites. It was a beautiful hotel, the rooms were great. The kitchenette had a full size refrig, a two burner stove, microwave and dishwasher. The sheets on the bed were very soft not the regular kind that lot of other hotels use. The towels were good thick towels and a good size for an adult to dry off with. The hotel is kind of out of town a little but you are right on 281 so it wasn't a bad drive to the Riverwalk, Zoo, Alamo or other interesting places. The staff we... read more

dont expect the room u reserved....#2 When I booked online, I booked 2 rooms and specified in one room that I had two kids and 2 adults the other 2 adults. Well when I checked in the receptionist said that I made a mistake because all she had down was 2 standard rooms, which consist of two queen beds. She tried to accommodate me but said that had been happening all night and she didnt have any more rooms to accommodate with. Nice hotel with a few rough edges Overall, the room was very nice. Everything was new and the bed was comfortable. However, the air conditioner was extremely noisy and there was no way to shut it down without roasting. The elevator was also very slow. Even with that, I'd stay there again.

Nice experience This hotel was extremely nice. The people on the front desk were helpful and easy to deal with. We really like the room. It was a very pleasant experience overall.

great deal Overall we were very impressed with the property. We were missing a remote (in a handicapped room) and iron when we checked into the room but the front desk quickly resolved the issues. The room was equipped with full kitchen, but the next morning we had to call for utensils (forks, spoons) which were also missing from our room. We did some laundry a few nights in-the washer/dryer are free to use for guests which was great! Could have been better. Room was nice but we did not realize it was extended stay until we checked in. That was okay but we never got our room cleaned the entire time we were there. They told us at check in that it would only be cleaned once a week. I guess we just missed the schedule or something. The room and hallways were full of "cricket" bugs as well as our neighbors room.
