Very nice, clean and friendly hotel. I was there visiting friends and enjoying the River Walk. The hotel was only about 20 minutes at the most from downtown San Antonio and a better price than downtown.

Would definitely go back. Upon checkout, I was informed that the hotel had been overbooked and that I would have to take a handicapped room. This was not a major inconvenience however , the handicapped room offers no tub so all of the bathroom floor was wet when the shower was used. Other than that the room was nice.

SA The hotel was nice, full size fridge real nice decent kitchen area. too bad someone let a puppy cry all night long and the jacuzzi didn't work for a brand new hotel. Bed is comfortable.

Excellent hotel for the money This is a brand new hotel atop a hill that looks back over San Antonio. The service was excellent and they let me check in 30 minutes early. The room was large and the furnishings brand new and attractive. Bed was foam and provided excellent comfort. The surrounding neighborhood was upscale with a variety of fast food restaurants. A HEB was right across the highway. The location of the hotel was easy to find and although it was approximately 18 miles from downtown, it is also on freeway.

Best place I have ever stayed in San Antonio! I can't say enough about how much I loved this hotel! It is in an excellent part of town with abundant access to shopping. The staff was so courteous and friendly, the room was so clean and nice, the beds and bedding very comfortable, and the room was spacious with 2 beds, a recliner, a dining-type chair, an office chair, desk/eating counter, full-size fridge, range top with 2 burners, sink and microwave. Good experience Traveling as a single mom is difficult enough and luckily the people at candle wood suites were very helpful and patient with us;

Very nice Hotel. Had a great stay in this Hotel. Fast check in. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Great stay for the price. This hotel was close to various shopping stores. Would definitely stay in this hotel again.
