Worst hotel ever!! Our room was beside a construction site. We were not informed that the next room was under construction so come sunday 8am there was very loud drilling banging. When i talked to EPI the manager he was so rude unproffesional he kept shouting at me and said its my fault that im chrap ebough to book with their hotel so thats what i get. This is the worst hotel ever.!!!!

Not much here To Clarify this is a Motel. Where your room is outside facing the street. My room was facing the freeway and was extremely noisy. The old motel had poor quality windows and the seal around the door was almost non existent. This led to me hearing cars and trucks all night. The shower curtain was all stained and should have been thrown away. It is in a nice area and felt fairly safe.

Bait and Switch Going through Travelocity, I reserved a room at Extended Stay America in San Mateo, CA with 2 queen beds, over one month in advance of my travel which was March 16 to 21, 2017 and I paid for it in advance at the time of booking. Nevertheless, I got a voicemail message from the hotel manager less than 24 hours before check-in, saying that my room was no longer available due to a "maintenance" problem. Avoid at all costs! One of the two people at the cramped front desk was chit-chatting on the phone loudly the entire time I was checking in. The first room they gave me stunk of cheap fragrance masking a terrible smoke odor. They moved me to another room that didn't have the smell, but had worn walls with chipped paint. While it had an efficiency kitchen, there was not a spoon, cup, or plate to be found. There was no coffee maker. I had to go back to the front desk again to get the coffee maker. Used condom is freezer The room smelled bad. Condom in freezer. Cabinets were very dirty. Toilet had debris.

Receptionists are not friendly & not accomodating. The shower head was broken. They should check if everything is working before they let people check in.
