Nice staff but… Really nice staff but the property is a bit run down & the bed in our room was awful.
I have to start by saying that staying in Santa Barbara is more expensive than many other cities in the stat that I have also stayed. There were signs of needed repair and at thee prices you would think that would not be the case. Things like caulking and touching up paint, but also an old refrigerator. There was no coffee maker in the room which you would think would be standard in an extended stay hotel. The thermostat worked well and I really appreciate that. Good to go… My daughter goes to UCSB so I visit her at least once per term and I always stay at this hotel because it has great staff and the rooms are always clean.
