Obviously I think it's a good hotel becasue.. This is the hotel I always stay at when visiting Savannah, GA. The price is right for the location and overall stay. However, the quality of the service seems to be decreasing each time I stay. The night attendant told me they were out of pillows, which I found hard to believe, and if it is true then it's pathetic that they were so under stocked. The beds are extremely uncomfortable, about as hard as the floor itself would be..but the rooms, lobby and hallways are always clean. T... read more
Very nice .. but .. The road to the hotel makes it difficult to reach if your coming from the wrong direction. The hotel is on a divided street. The entrance appears to be a two-way,and exit is a one way.
Worth the money My goal was to find a cheaper hotel that was some what close to downtown Savannah. This one was perfect. Not a five star but definitely a place to rest your head for a low cost. Close to grocery stores and a few shops.
Will stay here again!! Very pleased! Front desk very welcoming, very helpful, with hotel services and arranging taxi service to our important dates. Found Savannah easy to get around, and very easy drive to Historic District. Have recommended the ESA to our friends that visit Savannah frequently. Best Christmas!

One night it was ok, the staff were nice. the bed was hard, but the room was clean. If the the bed was softer I would definitely try the hotel again.
Why I would not stay I am a touring musician and stay in hotels well over 200 nights a year for the last 40 + years over time I learned that there was a easy way in and out of these places so I drew up a document that has everything a front desk would need before I get there and send it to the hotel the early morning before I leave the city and hotel I am in. Your front desk did not look at her fax machine that is right behind her so it took almost 20 minutes to get into my rooms.
